Strategic Development Site is the term used for land that has been identified for commercial or residential development. Due to the financial crisis of 2008 property development has slowed down, leaving some landscapes in a crisis of identity. These landscapes are in transition; liminal places caught between wasteland and development potential, which manifest themselves in an apocalyptic vision.
This work takes a neutral visual aesthetic, one inspired by the New Topographic photographers.
